Introduction

My name is Christopher Williamson, MD. I have been out of medical school for about five years and work at a local hospital clinic as an OB/GYN doctor. Eighteen months ago, I was single and available to date—when I had the time. I had no family, but I did have a few good friends that I played golf with when we had the chance. They were my best friend, Dr. Robert (Bob) Johnson, who attended medical school with me; Judge Isaiah (Izzy) Feinstein, whom I have known since high school and college; and Dr. William (Bill) Turner, who treated my mother a few years ago. Other than these three friends, I was pretty much on my own. Oh! I almost forgot my demon pager, which seemed to rule my life.

I want to share with you my story of the last eighteen months. Many of my dreams have come true, and some amazing things have happened to me. I feel like I have lived a lifetime in that short period of time. The events of the last few months have changed my life forever. I think my story may do the same for you. The last twelve months have been the most perfect year of my life. I could explain to you what happened to me, but I think I will let the story speak for itself.
